Susan brings a unique combination of life and legal experience to the firm, having made the sea-change from city lawyer to Northern Beaches solicitor.
Susan has grandchildren. In other words, she’s been around long enough to know the myriad reasons why someone will need a solicitor’s advice. Her experience, insight, and humour are much appreciated.
Susan is committed to ensuring that our clients feel confident and comfortable with their legal matters. She gladly meets with clients at their homes if it’s easier for them.

As the firm’s Paralegal, Elliott supports the team at N.G. Hayes & Associates across a broad range of legal matters, assisting with research, drafting, and client communication.
A Northern Beaches local, Elliott is passionate about supporting the community and helping clients navigate their legal matters with clarity and confidence.
As a soon-to-be graduate of Law and Arts, he has developed a keen interest in estate planning, property law, and practical legal problem-solving. His thoughtful approach, strong work ethic, and genuine commitment to client service make him a valued asset to the firm and a promising future lawyer.
Known within the office as the “man of mystery,” Elliott has managed to keep a few things under wraps — including where he disappears to at lunchtime and whether he actually drinks coffee (he wisely never accepts a cup from Nick).
Skye Hayes | Office Manager
As our Office Manager (and Nick’s wife), Skye is the engine that keeps the firm running.
If something needs organising, scheduling, fixing, finding, or gently nudging along, she’s already three steps ahead.
Skye keeps our team on time, our office on track, and our clients well cared for. She’s often the first friendly voice you’ll hear and the calm presence who somehow knows where everything is. Her attention to detail and natural ability to bring order to the busiest of days make her an invaluable part of the firm.
When she’s not in the office, Skye’s busy at her other job, being mum to her and Nick’s three children. Skye is happiest getting her hands dirty in the garden or walking a paddock, and she has never met an animal that she didn’t want to bring home.

As the newest Paralegal to join the team, Talia brings enthusiasm, curiosity, and a genuine eagerness to contribute to the firm.
A lifelong Northern Beaches local, Talia has a strong connection to the area. After recently returning from living in London, she brings a renewed sense of perspective- along with an appreciation for good coffee, live music, and the simple joy of being close to the ocean again.
With a client-focused approach and a dedication to achieving high-quality outcomes, she is committed to supporting the team while continuing to grow as an aspiring solicitor.
